Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces mobaraensis was originally described by Witt and Stackebrandt 1990. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 38 in 1991. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Labeda established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of (Hanka et al. 1966) Witt and Stackebrandt 1991 in 1996. established as a later homotypic synonym of (Nagatsu and Suzuki 1963) Locci et al. 1969 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2017.
