Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces mutabilis was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Komaki published an emended description of this species in 2021. Komaki established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Luo et al. 2017 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2021.
