Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces olivoviridis was originally described by Pridham 1970. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Rong and Huang established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Preobrazhenskaya et al. 1957) Pridham et al. 1958 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2010.
