Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces roseodiastaticus was originally described by Waksman 1953. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Lanoot et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Wollenweber 1920) Waksman 1961 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Lanoot et al. 2004 in 2004.
