Nomenclatural History	The species Streptomyces vitaminophilus was originally described by Goodfellow et al. 1986. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 22 in 1986. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Streptomyces vitaminophileus (sic) to Streptomyces vitaminophilus . Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Goodfellow et al. formed this name in 1986 by placing the species Actinosporangium vitaminophilum Shomura et al. 1983 into the genus Streptomyces Waksman and Henrici 1943 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Idris et al. 2017.
