Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Streptoverticillium cinnamoneum cinnamoneum was originally described by Baldacci et al. 1966. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 1980, Skerman et al. reduced (Benedict et al. 1952) Baldacci et al. 1966 (Approved Lists 1980) to the rank of subspecies.
