The subspecies Microbispora rosea rosea was originally described by Miyadoh et al. 1990. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 36 in 1991. Miyadoh et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Nonomura and Ohara 1960 (Approved Lists 1980) in 1990.
