Nomenclatural History

The subspecies Microbispora rosea aerata was originally described by Miyadoh et al. 1990. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 36 in 1991. Miyadoh et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Microbispora thermodiastatica Nonomura and Ohara 1969 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 1990. Miyadoh et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Microbispora thermorosea Nonomura and Ohara 1969 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 1990. In 1990, Miyadoh et al. reduced
Microbispora aerata (Gerber and Lechevalier 1964) Cross 1974 (Approved Lists 1980)
to the rank of subspecies.
