Nomenclatural History
The species Microbispora aerata was originally described by Cross 1974. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 1990, Miyadoh et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Gerber and Lechevalier 1964) Miyadoh et al. 1991 .
