Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Nocardiopsis alba prasina was originally described and validly published by Grund and Kroppenstedt 1990. Yassin et al. corrected this name from (sic) to . Grund and Kroppenstedt formed this name in 1990 by placing the subspecies Miyashita et al. 1984 into the species (sic) Grund and Kroppenstedt 1990 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 corrig. Grund and Kroppenstedt 1990 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018. Yassin et al. elevated this subspecies to the rank of species to form the name (Miyashita et al. 1984) Yassin et al. 1997 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 1997.
