Nomenclatural History
The species Nocardiopsis halophila was originally described and validly published by Al-Tai and Ruan 1994. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Zhang et al. in 2020. Nouioui et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Li et al. 2006 in 2018.
