Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Acetomicrobium was originally proposed by Soutschek et al. 1984. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 17 in 1985. Ben Hania et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2016. Ben Hania et al. transferred the members of
Anaerobaculum Rees et al. 1997 emend. Maune and Tanner 2012
into this genus in 2016.
