Nomenclatural History
The species Prevotella disiens was originally described and validly published by Shah and Collins 1990. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. Shah and Collins formed this name in 1990 by placing the species Holdeman and Johnson 1977 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Shah and Collins 1990 emend. Sakamoto and Ohkuma 2012.
