Nomenclatural History	The species Flavobacterium odoratum was originally described by Stutzer 1929. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 1996, Vancanneyt et al. established Flavobacterium odoratum as the basonym of Myroides odoratus (Stutzer 1929) Vancanneyt et al. 1996 emend. Hahnke et al. 2016 .
