Nomenclatural History	The species Flavobacterium pectinovorum was originally described and validly published by Bernardet et al. 1996. Bernardet et al. formed this name in 1996 by placing the species Cytophaga pectinovora (ex Dorey 1959) Reichenbach 1989 into the genus Flavobacterium Bergey et al. 1923 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Dong et al. 2013.
