Nomenclatural History
The species Chryseobacterium balustinum was originally described and validly published by Vandamme et al. 1994. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Heidler von Heilborn et al. in 2022. Vandamme et al. formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Harrison 1929 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Vandamme et al. 1994 emend. Heidler von Heilborn et al. 2022.
