Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Muricauda was originally proposed and validly published by Bruns et al. 2001. Yoon et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2005. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Hwang et al. in 2009 and Liang et al. in 2021.
