Nomenclatural History
The species Sphingobacterium multivorum was originally described and validly published by Yabuuchi et al. 1983. Hahnke et al. published an emended description of this species in 2016. Yabuuchi et al. formed this name in 1983 by placing the species Holmes et al. 1981 into the genus Yabuuchi et al. 1983 emend. Choi and Lee 2012.
