Nomenclatural History
The species Bacillus indicus was originally described and validly published by Suresh et al. 2004. Stropko et al. published an emended description of this species in 2014. Stropko et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Yoon et al. 2005 in 2014. In 2020, Patel and Gupta established as the basonym of (Suresh et al. 2004) Patel and Gupta 2020 .
