Nomenclatural History
The genus Nakamurella was originally proposed and validly published by Tao et al. 2004. Kim et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2012. This name replaces the name Yoshimi et al. 1996 . Kim et al. transferred the members of Yoon et al. 2007 into this genus in 2012. Kim et al. transferred the members of Lee et al. 2008 into this genus in 2012.
