Nomenclatural History
|
The species Rhodococcus baikonurensis was originally described and validly published by Li et al. 2004. Lee and Kim established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Rhodococcus erythropolis (Gray and Thornton 1928) Goodfellow and Alderson 1979 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2021.
