Nomenclatural History
The species Stanierella latercula was originally described and validly published by Nedashkovskaya et al. 2005. Nedashkovskaya et al. formed this name in 2005 by placing the species Lewin 1969 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Nedashkovskaya et al. 2005 emend. Lee et al. 2017. In 2006, Nedashkovskaya et al. established as the basonym of (Lewin 1969) Nedashkovskaya et al. 2006 emend. García-López et al. 2019 .
