Nomenclatural History	The species Sphingopyxis taejonensis was originally described and validly published by Pal et al. 2006. Pal et al. formed this name in 2006 by placing the species Sphingomonas taejonensis Lee et al. 2001 into the genus Sphingopyxis Takeuchi et al. 2001 emend. Hördt et al. 2020.
