The species Nocardiopsis arabia was originally described and validly published by Hozzein and Goodfellow 2008. In 2013, Zhang et al. established Nocardiopsis arabia as the basonym of
Streptomonospora arabica (Hozzein and Goodfellow 2008) Zhang et al. 2013
.
