Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Gibbsiella was originally proposed by Brady et al. 2010. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 139 in 2011. Kim et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2013. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Brady et al. in 2014.
