Nomenclatural History
|
The family Francisellaceae was originally proposed by Sjöstedt 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 106 in 2005. Boscaro et al. published an emended description of this family in 2012. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Larson et al. in 2016.
