Nomenclatural History
The species Oceanicella actignis was originally described by Albuquerque et al. 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 148 in 2012. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Huang et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Yin et al. 2013 in 2017.
