Nomenclatural History
The species Gemmobacter caeni was originally described and validly published by Chen et al. 2013. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Chen et al. formed this name in 2013 by placing the species Zheng et al. 2011 into the genus Rothe et al. 1988 emend. Kang et al. 2017.
