Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudocitrobacter faecalis was originally described by Kämpfer et al. 2014. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 157 in 2014. Kämpfer et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Kämpfer et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Kämpfer et al. 2014 in 2020.
