Nomenclatural History	The species Thiobacillus plumbophilus was originally described by Drobner et al. 1992. In 2015, Watanabe et al. established Thiobacillus plumbophilus as the basonym of Sulfuriferula plumbiphila corrig. (Drobner et al. 1992) Watanabe et al. 2015 emend. Kojima et al. 2020 .
