The species Pseudomonas saliphila was originally described by Zhang et al. 2020. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 201 in 2021. In 2022, Lalucat et al. established as the basonym of (Zhang et al. 2021) Lalucat et al. 2022 .
