Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Aureobacterium was originally proposed by Collins et al. 1983. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 11 in 1983. Yokota et al. published an emended description of this genus in 1993. Takeuchi and Hatano transferred the members of this genus into
Microbacterium Orla-Jensen 1919 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Fidalgo et al. 2016
in 1998.
