Nomenclatural History
The species Nocardiopsis trehalosi was originally described by Dolak et al. 1981. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 2000 the name was revived and validly published by Evtushenko et al.. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018.
