Nomenclatural History	The species Thermoflavimicrobium dichotomicum was originally described and validly published by Yoon et al. 2005. Yoon et al. formed this name in 2005 by placing the species Thermoactinomyces dichotomicus corrig. (Krasil'nikov and Agre 1964) Cross and Goodfellow 1973 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Thermoflavimicrobium Yoon et al. 2005.
