Nomenclatural History
The species Algoriphagus mannitolivorans was originally described and validly published by Nedashkovskaya et al. 2007. Shahina et al. published an emended description of this species in 2014. Nedashkovskaya et al. formed this name in 2007 by placing the species Yi and Chun 2004 into the genus Bowman et al. 2003 emend. Han et al. 2017.
