Nomenclatural History
|
The species Bifidobacterium stercoris was originally described and validly published by Kim et al. 2010. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Killer et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Bifidobacterium adolescentis Reuter 1963 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2013.
