Nomenclatural History
The species Nakamurella lactea was originally described by Kim et al. 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 148 in 2012. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2017. Kim et al. formed this name in 2012 by placing the species Lee et al. 2008 into the genus Tao et al. 2004 emend. Kim et al. 2012.
